Having many years experience working alongside wildlife in its natural environment, Ian Davie now draws on this in depth knowledge when creating a painting. There is no shortage of inspiration for his wildlife paintings, from daily sights around his home at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and trips further afield.
His highly acclaimed and unique presentation of wildlife images are achieved by working in great detail directly onto a swan's feather as his canvas. Merging one of nature's 3-dimensional works of art with one of his own. This has led to successful solo exhibitions and considerable demand for his work.
